Yes,
My grandfather and grandmother are from Nicaragua and El Salvador. Just an insight to the depletion of the south americans countrys population of iguanas. They used to buy 5, 1'svl iguans for a U.S. dollar. Now it cost $600.00 for a 5' iguana. They are rarer to find if you do not have the connections or money. I've never had feelings towards my grandpa having one when he visits down there. (as dinner, sorry) But I see it the same as if someone has a pet cow and they only take milk from then it's different. But 1000's of cows americas ranchers take to slaughter to fill the American demad for beef. A girl scout with a cow probably feels the same about slaughter houses as we feel as iguanas as diner in Central America.
