When dogs or other mammals suffer this problem, they do some "physio-therapy", in a warm small pool, to make 'em excercise the legs.
Maybe it could help the dipso?

: Still not a full recovery, but to me...a long way from total lack of hind leg movement. If MBD was the reason, then the UVB is helping the speedy recovery. I still use the incandescent plant land as the main basking area, but replaced the vitalite with a zoo med iguana lite which is on for 14 hours a day. When it is warm enough, he's outside for at least 20 min. of my lunch hour. Thanks for the lite suggestion.
