:Amino acids are the stuff proteines are made of (in general from a subset of 20 aa plus some modified and rare ones). Upon protein digestion aminoacids are set free. Some are further catabolized some are used to build up new proteins. The recommended Ig food is low in proteins and hence has to be low in the overall aminoacid content. If you now boost your igs food with aas, its more or less the same effect as if you feed him pure meet. Even worse, since the isolated aas are much more readily available to the metabolic systems.
So keep your hands off!!!!!
