Just curious...maybe the red clover type ? Little pinkish-purple puffy type flowers? Anyway....clover is featured at MKs diet section....Walkabout Salad from Susan Donoghue which mainly consists of clover.....I believe she's from the Land of Oz so clover maybe abundant or something. But what Ive read...and I cannot seem to find the site...is that clover is very very high in oxalates....which as everyone knows and is sick of reading! that it binds to calcium in the hindgut and is excreted instead of being absorbed. So....I'd say that it would be okay to give him in small amounts or let him forage a little....but not let him eat too much of it or become a staple (main everyday) part of his diet....If I find that link....I'll post it for ya.
