: To everyone:
: I am really suprised at how many misinformed people jumped to all sorts of conclusions about me from a single posting. I am sure many of you are intelligent, respectable people and such petty name calling and cheap shots are not expected. I have kept iguanas before and I am quite familiar with their proper care (among many other herps). I took the iquana out of a situation where it was being neglected and was trying to get some compensation for the over 400 dollars I spent buying equipment and animals from the owner (who was getting rid of all his herps, and wasn't taking care of the ones he had). I was not trying to make a "quick buck" by turning around and selling him. I do not have the time or space to properly care for a large iguana in my small apartment and with my hectic schedule. It is just as easy to be helpful and polite as it is to jump someone and be a jerk.
: You will be happy to know that I found a good home for the ig with an experienced keeper and all around herp lover (like me!). And I got a good partial trade on a beautiful jungle carpet python for him. So the iguana, the past owner and the new owner all benefited from this situation. I see nothing wrong with the fact that I was also able to benifit, and not at the igs expense. I apologize for any misunderstandings, but I feel I am owed an apology by some of you also. That was not the way to treat someone new to your circle.

: Michael Kelly
good for you ,good for the ig. and hopefully your post will knock some people of of their soap boxes.
