It will be hard for you to get any money for it. You obviously took the deal under false pretenses thinking you could make some extra cash. In case you don't know there are hundreds of ig's in this country looking for good homes. They require special and expensive care which is hard to find. They don't like new cages either. They are really set in their habits and daily routines.You can consider yourself very lucky if you can "give" it to a good home. There are many people who would jump at owning an impressive adult ig, but not many who could care for it properly. Hopefully you realize you made a mistake. The best thing i can suggest is look for an ig adoption place in your area although many of these are already full. Also put an ad in the paper for an experienced owner. In the meantime please go to Melissa Kaplan's web-site and try and make a good temporary home for him.
