Sometimes I get negligent and don't read posts until many days later...I just read about iZ's super-cape. I had come up with the same idea myself (in a roundabout sorta way).

One day, Booger decided to unplug her ceramic heat bulb while her Mom and I were out visiting a relative for a few hours. When we got back, Booger was quite cold to the touch. We immediately got her out into that nice California sun, but it started to cloud over, so I ran and got a washcloth and soaked it in warm water and draped it over her back. She seemed to enjoy this, and would give me a nasty look every time I took the cloth to warm it back up as the cloth cooled off.

Because she doesn't seem to like water very much, a few days later I started using the cloth to "bathe" her while she was having her soak. She was a whole diferent IG. She loves to be rubbed with the facecloth while she soaks -- her soaks turned from 3 minutes to 30.

When I noticed some spikes that were not shedding, I started draping the cloth over her back while she soaks, because I thought this would get them "wetter".

Now she's in heaven -- she gets bathed with the cloth then lies with it on her back until she needs to poop, and her huMom says her skin's never looked so good. (Ya had to know poop was gonna fit into this story somewhere *grin*)

Anyway, to make an unnecessarily long story short, I guess great minds really DO think alike. :)
