One of our regulars here, BabyHerp, has a couple of these type of bulbs. She did a lot of research and is so far happy with them. I believe that the normal distance for using UVB bulbs is way to close when using the Active UV bulbs. Hopefully BabyHerp will see your post and give you the load down on this type of bulb.
