Thank you all so much for your responce...
Sadly,Our Gizmo did not make it.I just want everyone to
know.We have/had two iguanas. Gizmo was a little over 3
years old.and last Dec. we aquired Lizzabeth who we
rescued. We then found ourselves with a mite problem
about a month ago.We have had a hard time finding a
good herp Vet.When Gizmo was about a year old we took her
to our regular vet because she had lumps in her legs and
toes.He had us get more lighting and give her calcium
suplements....She seemed to be doing better...
Then about 6 months ago She had a lump in her leg.

had a broken leg..Probably needed more calcium. We had
to leave her overnite they were to anesthetize her
and set her leg..The next day the vet called and apollogized
that there was an escape by Gizmo.and when catching her
the assistant grabbed the tail.Of which had never been broken

do the damage was done.It was broken off so deep they had to
use stitches. Now for 6 weeks straight we had to force feed
her because she wouldn't eat.Well she then got better
more like herself during her last follow up visit we aquired
Lizzibeth.Who later turns out to be a male..
So a couple months later these two are mates and we find
the mites. So, back to the Vet we go...The Vet says Gizmo
is doing great.and gives her and Lizzy an Ivermectin
shot and we are to come back in 2 weeks for a follow
up shot. One and a half days after the follow up shot
Lizzy is fine But Gizmo starts having severe problems.
She is quivering like her skin is just quivering all
over. This of course is during the weekend .o we try to
contact our vet to no avail. So I called the zoo,and the
