The saga of Bad Boy's training.........

I trained my iguana, Bad Boy to go to the shower to do his business. It makes it SO easy to disinfect and clean.

We started by carrying him to the shower after he warmed up in the mornings and used a command like "Good Poop" **yeah, I know, the things we do for our kids!** (Sometimes I would use warm water in a large pan to encourage him.)

If he didn't go at that time, we still told him he was a good iguana. Then, we took him back to his cage and fed him. About 30 minutes later we would try again.

Eventually, (after about two weeks) he caught on. Now we know when he needs to go because he will come out of his cage and kinda' pace like "HEY, it's that time again Humans!"

BTW, it is them training US, not the other way around, if you haven't figured that out yet! LOL
