This has been an on going debate for yrs.The problem is,that until the last 10yrs,and some vets still hand out wrong info,a lot of studing about igs diet hasn't been done.In fact a lot of studing of igs hasn't been done.All we can go by is what is known now about animal proteins being bad and to watch cal-phos ratios and purines,etc.There are still a lot of advice out there now,,and the best you can do is read,read,read and make your best call on your iggy's diet.WE use a combination of Swoffards and MK's diet and have had some good luck with our igs.It will drive you nuts with all the data and diets to read,,but that's the best I can offer.
