Here's my email addy too! Will try and e-mail you tomorrow....I've got to go to work in a bit! Have you checked out the charts over at Active Heat to figure out what type of lamp you may need for the size of the room? I'd worry about a fixture and whether it can handle the wattage you choose. I bought a 160 watt and 300 watt Floods for cages about 6x4x2(160 watt) and 7x5x3 (300watt)..not Spot lights..I'd go with the Flood for a bedroom...more dissapation (?) I have a plywood screen /partition with lots of tiny holes drilled in it as a 'diffuser' (placed in between the lamp and my igs) at the recommendation of their vet because the size of my cages...it may be totally unnecessary really...but still too paranoid to take chances with them getting vaporized! These lights emit UVC radiation you know the kind that causes skin cancer and eye damage!!...just don't stare at it! remember what yer MOM said!! Don't stare at the sun or you'll go blind!! she was right!lolol ...The distance between the lights and my igs behinds is 4 feet (300 watt) and 2 feet (160 watt). I think these lamps are terrific...Perfect for a room or huge enclosure. I have em on 2 hours a day...and only during the WINTER tho. (only had em running about a month now) My igs are outside on the patio almost everyday...weather permitting. Hope this gives ya a little idea. I'll email ya later...email the company too,if you have specific questions or concerns about their lights they're nice and helpful, least they were to me.
