A cautionary lesson I still have not learned (apparantly!)

What a week with our beardie, Flapjack!!! Sleestack the ig used to be the trouble maker but now those roles are reversed! IN the past, Slee forced us to tear out the stove/oven-- and painstakingly try to get him from behind a water heater in our apartment-- he did this TWICE (even though we thought we had sealed off the area). Now this week, Flapjack got under some furniture in the living room-- which really can't be sealed off and got in the exact place we coudln't get to him without taking everything off the shelves, and tilting it while one person runs in and quickly snatches him up. My hubbie was not pleased. Then 2 days later-- I was trying to be so careful and closed him off in our bedroom, but he found the one WORST place to go. Apparantly our dressers, though they appear solid to the ground from the front, have a crack in the back the right size for small reptiles!!!! I had to take out all the drawers and move all my crap off,and a heavy mirror-- boy was hubbie mad! I was so worried we'd crush him int he process. It turned out he wasn't there. He was under the other dresser (scratching sounded like it was from that one) so we had to take everything out of that one and lift it! Our bedroom was destroyed needless to say! So-- have I learned my lesson??? (somehow, I bet it happens again-- there is always some place you cannot forsee!!!!) At least Sleestack is being a good boy now!
