it's a question that has many answers. In my opinion, if the diet is right on the mark, I might consider supplying maybe, once a week to a iglet up to 1 year of age. But if it's a young adult iguana, I wouldn't supply anything as long as the diet is good. I'm a firm believer in blood work. A yearly or bi-yearly blood draw, is recommended. With these reports, you can tell alot of how your iguana is developing. If you have a good reptile Vet, who can read the lab results, he can make recommendations, on adjusting the diet or climate of your iguanas area. Humidity plays a big role in your iguanas health, make sure it has plenty of it. We have a room setup for our iguanas and run, a humidifier 24/7 to keep the levels up.
As posted below, check out the sites for diet information and also your cage set up. Are you using a UVB light? Do you have the proper temps going in the cage?
