To really be able to answer this question, we'd need to know more information about your iguana and it's husbandry.
Iguanas can slow down a bit in the winter, but a sure sign of it, is them cutting back on eating. All of our iguanas cut back to at least 50% intake during the winter. Harry cut back by at least 66% for a few months, but now he's back to eating around 3 full bowls of food per day. The feeding bowl is 8" x 8" x 2"D and is packed til it's heaping. One of our females, Lola, was egg bound during the winter, so she wasn't interested in eating at all.
If your iguana is eating but isn't moving around much, I wouldn't think it has to do with the seasonal thing.
What's the temp of the cage area? What's the temp of the basking area? How far away is your UVB lighting for the iguana? What's the age of your iguana? What kind of diet are you feeding it?
To find out what "might" be going on, we need to know as much about your iguana, has possible.
Best wishes,
HD
