: I know all about heat, feeding aand proper care.....I do have one more question...Could and adult iguana live in the igunana home by big apple if i left the bottom ramp open so it come come and go as much as it wants?? Do iguanas do good in reptariums???
iguanas grow fast and big 5-6feet long that wire cage from big apple is good temporary but soon your iguana will otgrow it and you will have to buy a bigger cage. check out www.cagesbydesign.com or ww.customcages.com . the reptariums are nice but they are cheap for a large iguana iguanas have sharp claws and love to climb . they will eventually rip that thin mesh dont you think if you cant afford much build one get 2x2s and use it for the frame of the cage then use peg board for the top since it got holes for air bottom use plywood or presswood sides either wire pegboard or masonite same thihg for the back you could probaly build a nice big cage cheap if you use your head and cheap supplies
