I had the same thing happen about 2 months ago. The baby Igg I found had MBD so bad it could not eat. his jaw was about 2x the normal size. I felt awfull, and after a week of seeing him get worse i went back and bought him. The sales clerk said" that one is close to dead, don't you want a diffrent one?" when i told him i was bying the igg to save his life he looked puzzled. i took him to the vet. she said itwas one of the worst cases she has seen in a long time. He died 3 days later. His vet bills came to over $200. I still could not have left him there. For you it does not sound like an option to buy him, plus it just gives the pet store more money to buy more iggs. I would sugest talking to the owner and never buying anything from there again. you can also call the humane society and see if they have any ideas.
