: Well I'll take the teenager thing as a compliment (because the flip side is that I sounded immature--hee hee)! I guess I have around 8 years of experience with Iguanas-- haven't had too much trouble taming down and potty training my males (although Sleestack has reached sexual maturity, I hear they can get nasty in their later years-- my last one was a sweetie until the day he died. I think he waited for me to come home so he could die in my arms and I could say goodbye. And then I was so depressed for a long time, he came to me in a very real dream (okay I know I sound like a nutcase) but in the dream I was sleeping exactly like I sleep and he crawled up against me--his 5 ft. length almost as tall as me! And he sighed heavily, as if to say he had come a long way for me because he knew I needed to see him healthy and say goodbye one more time-- he felt pity for my great sadness and let me pet him and hug him. Then when I fell asleep, comforted, he was gone. The weird thing is I was crying almost every day until that dream-- then I started to feel a bit better. I was a bit of a kook for that big lizard. It's irrational, but somehow I got an intense maternal bond with that darn lizard. Okay I don't know where that tangent came from, but now you know some of my history.
