They always act kinda flighty when they are on the floor (and younguns) because I think they see you as a giant and they feel quite vulnerable.

As far as free roaming goes-- they will get into every possible trouble (especially when they are young)-- he'll probably poop in the turtle tank, knock over the gecko cage, and poop on your power strip for your lights. He will climb everything in the room-- and jump from everything in the room (cracking his face when he misses). He will get on your computer and hack into secret files and ig porn sites. He will eat any inanimate objects that taste interesting (newspapers, toys, & bras) and lick everything in the room. He will hide in any crevice that is impossible for you to extract him from without tearing apart your house! Oh I am sorry-- I'm talking about all my lizards of past and present!!!

There is nothing wrong with freeroaming, but it needs to be ig proof because of MURPHY's LAW.

As far as age, I think you should be able to tell by 1 year-- the femoral pores are much more prenounced in males (easiest way to tell)
