I use lizard litter for my bearded dragon, but he never eats it-- he hates everything (all I can do to get him to eat a piece of veggie a week-- still loves crickets and worms though) He's fed outside the litter so no accidental ingestion. However, I don't even think that would be a problem-- cause I hide worms in his food dish filled with veggies so he'll accidentally get a bite of veggie-- I watch him--NEVER does he get a bite of veggie-- he can pick out the worms alone with skillful precision! If I trick him by sneaking a veggie in his mouth, he spits it out.
