: Like you, both Harry's Dad and I work so we feed our 4 iguanas very early in the morning. In fact, Harry's food is placed in his cage around 5am. He's done that early since once he's fully awake and warmed up, he goes into the attack mode and its unsafe to open his cage and try to feed him. The other 3 iguanas are fed at 6am. All dive right in when fed. When HD gets home from work, he'll check their food dishes and feed them again in they cleaned their plate(s). Some days the eat like there's no tomorrow and some days they barely eat at all. Moody little things aren't they? I guess its part of our training.
: Bottom line is try to mainitain some type of schedule whether its early morning, mid-morning or evening. The only problem with the evening feeding schedule is keeping the iguana(s) warm enough during the night so that they have time to digest their food and not have it sit in their gut and rot.
