Even the now-famous T-Rex Calci-Sand, a calcium-based "sand" that is digestible and "healthy", can cause impaction if swallowed under such circumsances. Always monitor the animal if it "swallows" too much. If so, get rid of it, and go with butcher-paper or in/out door carpeting, as someone aready wisely mentioned.

: I read on another forum about a 9 year old healthy iguana that was killed by Lizard Litter by Energy Savers Unlimited. It says that it is non toxic and digestable. An autopsy revealed that the iguana was impacted by a large anount of this litter.
