: what types of wood shavings r poisoness it igs? and can i use that kind of tree as a climbing branch??
:
: thanx
i personaly use tree bark it looks great it's to big for the iguana's to eat
it help maintain humidety (by slowly evarpotating water) but remeber that ANY kind of shaving could contain
mites esp when you get them from a petstore who also has birds,
what i do is i steam the bags of bark just put a cattle of water oon stick o huse in the cattle and the other end in the bag
steam i one hundred degrees celcius if you do that for ten minutes then everything is dead, hospitals use ten minutes exporsure to 100 degrees celcius as wel
(thats how i figured out how long i should steam:))
back to the bark because of the vaporising u only need to pick out the hard bits of the doodoo (can anybody tel me a proper word fo that ?)
so you can actauly use it quite long i even think u could wash it , but i dont bother with thayt i ust be some new after 2 months
good luck
Dark
