: About a week or so ago...I could of swore Juana had an outbreak of cestodes (tw) they looked EXACTLY like the ones you posted at Akira's site. Finally was able to get an adult worm specimen to the vet and diagnosis was roundworm NOT tapeworm....the ends of the worms did turn out more roundish than flat....but I sure was spooked at first.

Oh yes, i bet! Those roundworms sure can get big, huh!

Any chance of getting a few pics of roundworms posted over at Akiras? Keep up the good work Marie....I think its great!

Thanks Gina! I think Akira does have some pictures of large adult roundworms on his site... or at least he did before. I don't have a macrolens on my camera so I haven't been able to take pics of them... only pics I can take are through the lens of my scope.

I hope Juana is roundworm free soon!
