A question of enlightenment on a "Menu" dessert......

a friend of mine gives his "teen-age" ig an interesting dish for "dessert":
he puts in Kellog's Total in the blender, and 'pulvirizes' it to almost a powder. then, he takes a whole banana, squashes it 'til it's almost paste-like, and adds the Totals. He said that one of these "bombs" (as he calls it) can make an ig live forever (he's a bit nutty, but actually good in caring for the animal).
Since cycluras LOVE bananas, and they are technically 'iguanas',
is it ok to feed such an inviting dish to an iguana?
i believe, though not sure, that he gives it 2X a week.
after all, isn't the banana the best natural food on earth?
i have seen the iguana diggin' in the sweet power-meal to the point of almost choking!
what do you fellow igsters think?

p.s. sometimes, he adds raisins to boost up the energy in the food. (???)
