us.In case you do not know, NIAD stands for National Iguana Awareness
Day.This "Day" is September 11, 1999. On September 11 all NIAD
volunteers will take to the streets,the airways, television, ... to talk
about caring for green iguanas. We do not want to stop peoplefrom buying
them, what we want is for people to know what care is involved in the
pet before they buy the iguana.If they decide to not buy the iguana
because of that information, that is up to them. We just want to see the
"throwaway pet" term become a thing of the past.ThanksArgiope: I am
making this a general post so that it will be easier to refer people to
