I don't know how big a hibiscis bush grows, but an ig can eat almost every part of it. You may have to have several of the bushes in pots to keep chaning them out as the ig distroys them.

You might want to put a tarp over the top of half the cage. Cheap, adjustable, and will provide some shade.
