:: You have many good questions I asked my self when first getting my iggy. First thing if your cage is made out of glass it's not a good idea to put it by a window it is like leaving a dog in a hot car all day. your cage seems a little small but if he has time out he should be ok. For supplements I just regular cal. vitamins that I take. I just crush one up and sprinkle about a pinch or two over my ig salad. I also give him a sprinkle of brewers yeast about twice a week. I get the brewer yeast from the bulk section of the health food store. You will have to clean the cage about once week maybe every other week depending on your set up other than the regular poop cleaning. Iguanas will not clean up there own skin and they sneeze salt all over the place. You asked about cheaper cage material, What I am doing is collecting odds and ends to build a cage. For example I have a friend that works construction and some times they have left over windows and othe building materials. There is also a cite that has a good cage made out of pvc and plastic covered wire netting. Collard green and mustard greens are both good leaf greens to feed. Turnip greens and escrole are also good greens. Music is alright just remember that iggys have very sensitve hearing, my iggy likes Pink Floyd but I haven't found to much else he really likes. I think Charles answered the rest of your questions. I wish you good luck and keep us posted. ***Sam***
