She doesn't need the male to be gravid. A five year old female should be gravid or reabsorbing her eggs. Try a large trash or storage bin and cut a hole in the side. Fill this with potting soil and sand.

My girl, Sam appears to be reabsorbing. She has quit digging and has started to eat again. She is also pooping normally again.
