I'm not discounting you worrying.....but do you think just maybe this is part of his season behavior? Or maybe a reaction to outside weather? (Mostly cloudy, cloudy days mainly?) I know that him having a recurrence of kidney problems weighs heavily on your mind and you are probably afraid that somehow you'll miss some sign. Maybe this time tho it's more of a little thing than something wrong?

I didn't get a chance to reply yet on your exercise ? so I'll do it here. I think that you & folks had good suggestions. The only thing I would add/change is I wouldn't do anything for 20 minute increments. I think you'd stand a good chance of wearing him out. (Since he struggled the other night maybe his "peak-ed-ness" is a result of his being really tired?) If he goes downhill more easily than up, then IMHO I'd get him to come down a few times a day to work those legs. As his strength improves then start on short uphill walk. Rather than do one long session perhaps 2-3 sessions a day would be easier on him.

Glad his appetite has picked up! I'm sure it did you proud LOL What is it about moms and finishing one's plate? *grin*

BTW "We" made 100 on both of those time lines. Next project due 3/8. Have to cover over a cereal box with name of book, author, kid's name & illustration on front; a game on back; sides have plot summary and inside you put a "prize" that somehow relates to the book you read. *big sigh* *even bigger sigh*

glenda (who doesn't remember these projects when SHE was in elementary)
