going to the experts

My ig is gravid as I suspected. She had been digging and clawing at everything in her enclosure. I took her to the vet who has pulled her through some other health issues with success. Anyway, he did a blood panel on her just to be on the safe side. All the blood work came back great. Everything functioning well. Anyway, my question is we are going to have her spayed tomorrow as per his advice as she was pretty dehydrated and she won't go through this again. Has anyone else experienced a change in their iguana's personality after this procedure. She is very, very sweet and I wouldn't want that to change. Thanks for your help anyone!!
