Its not a good idea to pull off any of the sheds. It can harm the ig. Its best to just let them fall off by themselves. I bathe my ig like 4 times or more a week. I bathe him in luke warm water, this really aids in shedding. Before I started bathing him, he used to shed in little pieces, now that I bathe him, he sheds in sheets of skin. It comes off much quicker and his skin looks great! =) Hope this helps you. Yvette
