I completely agree with Iguana Joe. MBD is not reversable, but can be stopped from progressing, and the bones can be strengthened. MBD is a disease of the bones which causes the bones to lose their density and become weak, and/or deformed. My iguana Zilla had mild MBD when we first rescued him. After the 1st vet visit, we started him on Neocal Glucon (liquid calcium), and kept him on it for the next 3 months. We also installed a new UVB tube, and he got a few hours a day of sun. On his first vet visit, the bones on the xray were very faint, but a year later, his bones were larger, and well defined. The difference was almost shocking. He didn't have the obvious signs like the smaller lower jaw, etc. His bones were just not the strength they should have been, and he is small for his age. He has doubled in weight, and grown 6 inches STL in the last 15 months or so. He has completely recovered from the MBD. MBD can be treated, and your iguana can recover from it, but if the damage is already too severe, there still may be outward signs that your iguana had it. Hope this helps.
