Sprouts aren't great nutritionally speaking alot more phosphorus and other phytochemicals that make them not a great choice to grow/give as food to igs. Link below to USDA Nutrient Database on "sprouts" ....also may want to plant something a little more heartier...for potted plants I'd go with something like geraniums, hibiscus, or narcissus, daylillies ...plants that can take getting trampled on! Trying to think what vegetable-type plants would thrive inside of an ig enclosure but suffering major brain farts today! Thinking......Guess you can also grow some of the heartier grasses,dandelion, or clover (clover-high oxalate content but a little for foraging would be ok) Food for thought...literally!
