The eggs are yellow and hard because they've dried out, it doesn't take long. Rest assured they were white when they were laid. It is extremely unlikely that your Ig has only developed two eggs. I'm sure there are many more where those came from. If you haven't already, you need to provide a suitable nesting container asap, it might not be too late. A 30 gallon garbage can on it's side, a large enough hole in the lid, and half full of moist sand should do the trick. However, she may just lay the rest here and there since she's already started that way. I think you need to start shopping around for a new vet, the one you've got now sounds clueless.
