From what you said it's had to render an opinion but she is showing some of the signs. You did mention that she was beginning to lose tail weight, when this begins it is time to take action. I would suggest that now is a good time to start figuring out what the problem is. Once they decline in health to the point of substantial weight loss it can be difficult/impossible to bring them back. A good rule of thumb is if you can see a reduction in tail weight without explanation then they need a vet. It's best to address any problems as soon as you realize there are some. It can take months to figure out what's going on and even then the treatment may wind up being a shot in the dark, so if you wait until the Ig is very sick the chances for recovery are greatly reduced. I would either take her back to your vet or locate one more qualified.
