G.G. has a huge burn scar covering 2/3 of his belly and part one rear leg. It is my understanding that the injury was never treated at all. Keeping any kind of med on a belly-dragger like an Ig might be a failing endevor.

I might suggest keeping him on a soft towel, lightly applying a mild anti-bacterial agent on him. The towel will have to be changed frenquently due the medication getting rubbed off and an Ig's habit of dabbing it's tongue as it moves along. Above all, keep the animal and it's enclosure clean.
