The only ill effect it seems to have had is to give him a sweet tooth for giblets. I have no doubt that in the wild, Igs are not above robbing the odd bird nest or two if the opportunity presents it's self.

: One of my dogs is not eating well right now and I had to dash out and I put his food dish up on the table (I did not want the other dogs to get into it because it was not ment for them). Well, the ig got out instead and got into it. This has NEVER happened before and I would NEVER EVER feed this to her deliberately but is it a big problem? She ate all the dry food on the plate and about a tablespoon of canned dog food mixed with a crushed PeptoBismol tablet.
