Ryan...you prolly need to get him checked out by a vet. The lump he has on the side of his mouth may be beginning MBD the calcium is breaking down along his jawline. If your iguana is not getting lots of natural unfiltered sunlight and not getting it artificially from a uvb florescent tube or other uvb emitting lamp then chances are yeah...major vitamin deficiency...You need to get him on a high calcium (lettuce is NOT high calcium!)high fiber diet maybe add a crushed multi-vit/calcium supplement sprinkled on his salad 3xs a week for a while ...but mostly have him checked out by a vet to determine how advanced it is and the proper amount/type of supplement to give him.
