If Spazzy has her dewlap in, and you don't feel like she's threatening you - I bet she's not!! How else can she comunicate with you??? She probably knows you recognized she's doing *something* towards you, so she does it again - and there you have it - lizard communication. Bearded dragons have been known to 'wave' back (mine too)- so why not head-bob?
I know Iggy tries to tell me things, but I'm just a tad thick! I generally get the picture, and am rewarded by her actions that say, "Yes mom, you FINALLY noticed!" I think that just as with children, ya gotta go with your gut instict. Mom's always know best!
