A great many lizards do this in one form or another. To Spazzy, you are another large, rather odd-looking iguana and this is her way of of maintaining her place in what she escentaly considers your territory.
We have a little, male fence swift out back with a startling, blue belly. His gesture is to raise and lower the front half of his body and flash his belly. He is Boss Swift in the back yard and will fight to the death defending his little territory. It is most amusing to watch.
Luck,

: could someone please explain headbobbing to me? I thought it was a mating thing, but spazzy is alone and looks at me and does it or just does it not looking at anything. By the way I am not mating with her,I don't care how much she bobs her head!!! LOL
