My husband manages a lumber company and deals with tube light all the time. They make a real mess when they shatter. He said that the dust inside is not harmful, but a real booger to get cleaned up because it clings like talc. Vacuum everything twice. Then wipe down all the surfaces you can with a wet rag. Let it dry and then vacuum again.

Try to dissuade Myyaa from walking in that area until a few days have gone by and you have vacuumed it a few more times. Some of the stuff will work its way up through the carpeting as you walk on it and keep vacuuming it.

My worst fear would be for her to ingest the glass. Best of luck to you both. (That's an expensive mess too!)
