especially the way the article reported it as if it was AMUSING that kids clobbered the iguana out of a tree with a huge, hard ball! If anyone has been hit in the face with a soccer ball, let alone a basketball, it doesn't feel to good....now imagine a ball half as big and heavy as you are.... knocking you a couple stories off a building or something! He could have broken several bones (and I'm sure he did have some BAD bruises from this incident...anyone that has had to hold down a fighting iguana knows how easily they bruise. And small injuries can cause their eyes and faces to swell up as well (my last iguana banged himself good a couple times...making me panic and take him to the emergency vet because his face/eye was swollen).

STUPID PEOPLE!
