I know it's a bit late to reply to this. I am the Product Director at Fluker's. There really is a difference in most of our iguanas. True, most baby iguanas from El Salvador are bluish when they are hatched, but our iguanas tend to stay that way. We have selectively bred them to do that. Also, we have a Blue Diamond Iguana Diet that if it is used to supplement their diet, will help the iguana keep that blue color. (Special ingredient!) Not trying to sell anything here, just thought I'd put my two cents in. Thanks
