Soaking poops...

When I soak Slater, should I take him out as soon as he goes poop? Or should I let him soak? I was thinking: If he knows he'll get out as soon as he goes, then he'll always take a crap knowing he'll get out without getting a soaking, so he'll never soak. Please help.
