Iguana Basking with my Red eared sliders?????

I let my igi roam freely in my room during the day. He is 4' long,4 ys old, and a male. I caught him today basking with my red eared sliders! He crawled into my 170 gallon tank and plopped himself ontop of my res. They basked together for a few hours, then sniffed eachother. Is that weird or what? I put the cover on the tank, so he can't get in their anymore, but I thought I would share the story. Man.......I thought I have seen it all.....LOL. My igi thinks he is a turtle! Can't blame him though..I have plenty of em in my house.
The turtle(Gus) is on the main page of my website. They get along like brothers.
