You will have to keep the humidity up for your Green Iguana, whether you do this by confining it to a certain room or an enclosure is your decision. My freeroamers, both greens and Cyclura, spend a lot of their time in 2 rooms..a bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom is naturally humid and I run a humidifier in the bedroom. Be very careful if you try to introduce a new adult GGI to your Rhinos. My Rhino accepts the GGI's that she was raised with but will have nothing to do with the ones she's not familiar with, at least in her territory. Just this morning she chased a green female twice her size out of "her" bedroom yet yesterday she was basking with this same GGI down the basement where she rarely goes.
The green iguana should have a basking spot set up somewhere high. A pig blanket placed on the floor will not do. Mine all prefer to sleep somewhere above my eye level, while my Rhino is very comfortable on a heating pad on the floor (when she's not crowding the bed).
People have differing opinions on freeroaming. I'm sure you'll get lots of feedback on this topic.
