Gino...lolol Im sorry...I truly dig my Iguanas but they are the bIGgest pain in the butts to raise. To jump from chams & kingsnakes to Igs is like walking directly into the path of a speeding train! I know that chams are not low maintenence reptiles either but Igs require so much more...get to around 6 feet max...females tend to be a little smaller mine is 5 feet already, but also less aggressive (HA!!) during breeding season than males...each being known to inflict SERIOUS wounds to "owners", by biting, scratching, tail whips etc. Ya just can't stick em in a tank or enclosure & leave em...they require so much more. I noticed that IZ's MOM left a couplea links up above...I'd suggest reading up on GGIs at those sites and also check out the Water Dragon Forum here at Kingsnake for their opinions from certifiable (lolol) water dragon owners! Anyway if ya go with the Iguana...please adopt ...many of them in rescues looking for homes (with good reason!!!) all over the US and come back & post we'll help ya out as best we can!!
Gina (not offended by you having a collection , I too have a LARGE collection of reptiles in my family ;-)
