I'd also like to leave you the link to Rainbow Bridge. I don't know if you are familiar with it; it originated for dogs but has become a comforting site for people owned by all sorts of pets. Sad to say that many people here at this forum have someone waiting for them at the bridge and I know from them that this helps.
