To properly maintain an Ig is an every day thing. G. G. requires more time and attention than all of my snakes put together plus the wretched cat. You can't just lock it up and forget it for a while. Also they get big. Almost 6' is not uncommom and even a medium sized one can be a real handful unless it has been tamed, no easy chore in it's self.
On the other hand, keeping one can be most rewarding, as you may observe for your self by scrolling down the page.
GIVE IT A LOT OF THOUGHT. An Iguana is not collectors item, but a commitment.

: that scares me. As if an iguana was a rock or even a beer can....which people do collect (right Ig3?) I guess I don't see them as a part of a collection, but as part of the family. I would suggest something else other than a green iguana, only because I'm against iguanas being used for collections! LOL sorry.
